In this first episode of the two part series, we revisit the EADV webinar series "Dermatology during a pandemic" and explore tips and updates on COVID-19. This episode covers skin manifestations, dermatosurgery, dermato-oncology and teledermatology in the times of Covid-19. Prof. Myrto Trakatelli, Chairperson of EADV School, gives an overview of the webinar series, whereas Dr. Elena Rossi, Dr. Christian Posch, Dr. Paola Pasquali and Dr. Cristina Galvan give an update on dermatology and COVID-19 in their respective fields of expertise.

Given her profound experience with autoimmune blistering diseases, we take the opportunity to discuss how she balances her passion for research and practice while also creating and managing the Australasian Blistering Diseases Foundation (ABDF) with one of her research fellows.

The authors jovially use the personage Santa Claus to explain potential diagnoses for patients who are exposed to harsh working environments (e.g. extreme climates, temperature changes, radiation exposure, sleep deprivation, and injury).
